Individuals and businesses have several myths about SEO and internet marketing in general. Here are five popular SEO myths that have been debunked.
- Once on top, always on top: search engine rankings keep fluctuating. SEO is a continuous process and if you stop your SEO efforts once you get good ranks, the ranks are sure to drop sooner or later. Moreover, the algorithms of search engines keep changing and it is important to keep you updated about the latest changes and tweak the SEO campaign to stay on top of search.
- Keywords stuffing will suffice: gone are the times when keyword stuffing would give your website good ranks. The rules of internet marketing have changed and keyword stuffing is now deemed as spammy. Search engines will not favor this practice. - The more you work on SEO, the better results it yields: Earlier the quantity mattered in SEO. There is now a shift to this and it is the quality of work that matters. Newer platforms on the internet like blogs and social media websites have given the user the power to interact and opine and not be a silent spectator. They have become smart and important platform to market and advertise on.
